CREEK HOUSE ON MEADOW RUN

Great all around!

This was a nice house and the location was great. We even got rain the one night, so the stream was running fast in the morning.

Perfect house right on the creek.

Excellent location and plenty of space!

A great time by the fire pit and throwing rocks in the creek. Please note you will need salt and pepper as the kitchen is incredibly bare bones.

Very cute home. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and we enjoyed the decor. The living room furniture was so comfy and the kitchen, dining, living space was very open with lots of seating. We loved the outdoor space, sitting creekside & we enjoyed the fire pit. This home was also private yet easily accessible from the main road.

Great property! Clean with plenty of room inside and outside. Having the creek right there next to the fire pit was awesome! Would definitely recommend staying here! Only gave 4 stars because the propane grill barely had any propane left and no spare tank. Only managed to get a few sausages cooked...had to cook our steaks inside on the stove. Also, one of the grill burners didn't work.

Clean comfortable and fun!

A great place to stay with family along a nice fishing creek. Caught many trout. Property is very large, mowed, with plenty of shade trees. We visited the cavern, Ohioplye state park, winery, and a few restaurants. The evenings are quiet and relaxing by the firepit. This place is bigger than the pictures represent. Will recommend this place and hope to visit in the fall.

The house was roomy, well laid out and accessible for use with a walker. There is a nice handicap accessible walk-in shower. Plenty of comfortable seating. Convenient location. The view of the river was very nice. Our only complaint is the 2 beds in the 3 season room are not useable in colder nights, a small heater would be great in the cooler months.

Perfect place to spend my 50th birthday! Arrived to a immaculately clean house that was so much bigger than we realized it would be. Well maintained outdoor area with firepit and stream access. Easy "check-in" with door code. Excellent communications with property management. We will ABSOLUTELY stay here again.

The property was fantastic! The back yard was our favorite part. House was clean and spacious, plenty of storage and very comfortable. Lots to see in the area. Would stay again if we ever go back to the area! Only one negative but not impactful on our love of the property. The tile floor that the wood stove is located on, had a pretty large differential from wood to tile. 3 of the 5 of us tripped and it was pretty painful to hit a toe on that tile. It seems as if it should have been more of a pronounced step up. Other than that, 5 stars!!

Overall a great place. Very tacky to leave a tip envelope for the cleaner.

This property was extremely clean and was well stocked with kitchen supplies, and linens. We felt very comfortable being there. A home away from home. Being by the creek was absolutely wonderful and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this property and would love to come back sometime. The only thing that could have made it better would have been window coverings in the room that has the 2 pull out couches. We bought some plastic table cloths at the dollar general and put them over the windows for privacy, so it was no big deal. Also, If you are use to city water the water has an odor, but we just used our bottled water, so it was no big deal. There was a Lg Dollar general about 1 mile away which had grocery items. There was also an awesome coffee shop right there too. Wildlife - there were deer out in the yard almost every morning and evening. We also saw a couple cute chipmunks, a frog, and a cardinal couple. Out of 6 people and 5 different data plans, nobody had service at the house. But the free wifi inside the house was very good. Over all this is a great place to stay. The owner was very nice and I appreciated his communication with me.

The rental is clean and everything worked inside! The kitchen was perfect for cooking up family meals and the outdoor grill and firepit were much appreciated. The best part for the kids...the creek!!! They found salamanders and a newt... which were released after examination. They explored in the creek for a few hours. The two TV's were also a bonus for the kids. The weather was on the warm side for our trip so the AC was a wonderful relief. There were so many activities in a 5 -10 mile radius of the rental. It is in a perfect location for adventuring to nearby attractions. My grandkids asked me to buy the rental! Lol.

We had a great long weekend exploring Ohiopyle! The location was the perfect distance from wineries, whitewater rafting, hiking, and food. The place was clean and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Hope to visit again soon!

Great Locations, Extremely Clean, Very Comfortable!

We had a lovely stay! Everything was tidy and clean and the property was so lovely. We hope to come back next year.

Great cabin / home on a creek where you hear the water rushing over the rocks at night! Fire pit was great! Loved the whole place, only issue I had was I have a bad back and the master bed was a bit soft for me, outside of that I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy nature.

House and property were very nice. No complaints.

Beautiful property. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The creek behind the house was so nice. My husband fished every day and caught trout every day. We rented bikes at Ohiopyle and we spent an evening at the casino Lady Luck. We didn't get rich but we did win some money. We will definitely rent this property again.

We used this for hunting, really didn’t want to leave to go hunting. Will be returning next year but bringing a fishing pole to hit the creek.

This is a great house in a beautiful setting! Lots of room inside and out. Loved the fire ring beside the babbling brook and the beautiful fall foliage. Owner was responsive and extremely helpful. Highly recommended!

Nice location to relax and decompress. Amazing view of the creek and great outdoor fire pit and grill.

Only stayed for 3 nights. The property looked exactly as the picture. We love camping and this was camping while able to have a roomy house. Would consider coming back next year.

Reunion with 4 childhood friends for the weekend. We get together once a year and meet up somewhere new. This year we went rafting and checked out Laurel Caverns. Place was perfect for us and sitting out by the fire at night next to the stream was perfect. Would definitely come back.

A perfect spot for old friends to gather and enjoy a few days. The house is clean, spacious, and accommodating. Outdoor areas are wonderful, patio table and fire pit, inviting guests to enjoy the fabulous creek, rhododendrons, and magnificent old trees on the property, quiet and serene, close to fun river adventures and recreation in Laurel Highlands, great neighborhood.

House was super clean and loved having the stream nearby for the kids to look for crawfish in. The property was well-maintained and loved having the washer and dryer on site.

The house itself is very basic but the property it’s at is amazing with a stream and huge yard. Do not expect to catch trout at least in the summer dry months. The cleanliness of the house itself was very bad and things were left undone upon our arrival we spent the first part of the stay cleaning, not worth the cleaning fee you pay in my opinion. The house sleeps 8 but you are charged 15$ a day per every person after 4 which seams very steep. Overall I’d rate the cabin 3-4 stars, another positive is it seamed to be only 10-20 minutes from anything we wanted to do.
