This tucked away cabin that sits on 10 acres of PA Wilds is set in the middle of 16,000 acres of PA State Gamelands #51. Hike, hunt or explore directly from the cabin–just be sure to leave with a map and compass as you embark on any excursion. When you return, enjoy the sunset on the oversized covered patio on the front or large side patio with picnic table, hot tub and outdoor seating. Inside the cabin has all the luxury that you want for a cozy getaway. Enjoy the floor to ceiling gas fireplace, in-floor heat, Flat Screen TV and Satellite Internet (DATA rules apply).
Please note this cabin sits at approximately 2900 feet elevation. Guests MUST have AWD/4WD to stay here from Nov 1-March 31st. Guests that fail to abide by this advice will get stuck and be disappointed.

We absolutely loved the cabin! Had a blast and was very clean. We did reach out to property manager for a broom but never heard back. We didn’t have good service so we’re not sure if that had anything to do with it. Wi-Fi was very in and out. Otherwise we enjoyed ourselves! We’ll be back in the future!

The Internet is provided by Satellite...so, sometimes less than fast to say the least...but, it's a cabin in the woods--who needs Internet!! Hope to have you back again real soon! -
Everything was great except when we went to get into the hottub on the 2nd night it had leaked so much water that we couldn't use it and there was no point in trying to contact anyone because it would never be up to temp that night so we could use it
Owner's Response: It's definitely hard to understand a 1 star review when a guest writes "everything was great". It's a shame to hear about the leak. We would have directed you to the sister cabin just a short walk away rather than have you not enjoy a night in the hot tub (clearly it meant a lot to you)…but, that's why reaching out is so important. At any rate, we did note the hot tub leak after your guest stay and had it fixed right away. -

My wife and I celebrated our Anniversary at Whiskey Rock Cabin near Ohiopyle and thr place and our stay was perfect! Secluded, very modern and clean, hot tub was amazing, and so close to all the benefits of Ohiopyle with the waterfalls, hiking and beautiful fall scenery. Thank you to our host!

The cabin is clean and well-maintained, with a hot tub just outside the side door. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the dishes, parts, and utensils you could need. It was very cozy and comfortable, and very close to some great attractions including to Frank Loyd Wright houses that we visited.

Comfortable, warm, clean newly built cabin, close to Ohiopyle State Park and Falling water. Only wish they could do something with the very high tv above the fireplace. ( maybe add a shelf to divert heat from tv) very hard to watch from smaller loveseat. Loved the bird feeder outside the window!

This was a great setting for relaxation. We had a very restful vacation and felt like we were in a remote location far from home despite the cabin only being about an hour from the Pittsburgh metro area. The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub. There were also plenty of interesting things to see and do in the area.

This place was the perfect cabin for our weekend stay in Ohiopyle. Cabin was clean and had nearly every item we needed to be comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely, clean cabin! It was nicely decorated, had all the amenities we needed, and we loved having the fire pit and hot tub. Property was beautiful and our stay was relaxing. We will be back again to this cabin. Loved it.!

We had such an enjoyable and relaxing stay at this beautiful, remote cabin. The fire pit and hot tub made for relaxing evenings after a day of hiking and biking at Ohiopyle. We would definitely return for another weekend getaway!
