My friends and I loved staying at this house! It was a perfect setting for a bachelorette weekend full of women who love antiques and nature! The house is filled with so much fascinating art, antiques, and history, and it felt like such a treat to stay there. The grounds of the property are beautiful, and the pool is such a nice feature, especially in the middle of such an idyllic setting.

I have stayed at Victorian Orchard for four summers with friends and every year I discover something new. The house is huge and is truly Victorian inside and out. The large wrap around porch is perfect for relaxing and talking. The inside rooms are amazing with old photos, paintings, wallpaper, etc reflecting the Victorian Era. Everything, and I mean everything, except clothes and food is supplied. Sheets, blankets, dishes, appliances, towels are all available. Notes are left to help you find what you need along with information about the house and area. The pool is clean and well equipped. I love staying here surrounded by nature and away from a busy, noisy world.

The beautiful wrap-around porch with several different seating options was our first hint that we could all spread out comfortably. The 9 of us, including 2 toddlers and a dog, had plenty of room, whether in one of the many bedrooms, in the library, the dining area, or the family room. Over 3 days, we never tired of examining the old photographs and paintings that filled every room. We enjoyed reading a brief history of the property in the family's binder and discovering that George Washington is thought to have once traveled a path through the yard to the woods in back. Given the house's proximity to Fort Necessity, this seems very likely! The yard was huge, with tons of area for the kids and the dog to roam, while the in-ground pool was sparkling clean and a real treat at the end of a long day. For those with kids, this a great house for hide n seek. You will feel like you're stepping back in time! The owners of the house were very quick to respond to all our questions. We extended our stay an extra day to enjoy the property a little longer. I've stayed in many great properties, but this was my favorite and earns my highest recommendation.

My family loved the history and charm of Victorian Orchard. We were so pleasantly surprised that the house was decorated for the holidays complete with a decorated tree and Christmas music playing! We even had a white Christmas as it snowed the first few days we were there. We had plenty of room for all the family who planned to stay. We hiked, visited Ft. Necessity and Braddocks grave, Kentuck Knob, Cucumber Falls and other beautiful vistas in Ohiopyle. Was a perfect Christmas!

We really enjoyed our stay! Especially the books in the library, the piano, and being in nature! The views all around the house and up on the hill are amazing. Every room is decorated beautifully, and we felt like we stepped into a piece of history. This house is such a unique place to stay and we loved it!

The property was just as described, and just what we needed. We spent the days in the pool and the evenings by the fire pit. Very well stocked with almost everything you need. We were here a couple years ago and I hope to return next year.

We had an amazing time. The house is just what we needed after a day of hiking, biking and whitewater rafting, the pool is what we all wanted. It was a great stay.

This property had absolutely everything we could have needed. It was a beautiful house that celebrated it's history and the love this family feels for their legacy. The pool was so clean and lovely. Communication with the owners was quick and easy. This property is truly the most well-cared for house that we have ever stayed at. We will definitely be back next year! Pool was awesome, kids and adults loved it! The Top of the Hill look out was perfect for viewing stars and the meteor shower! House very spacious and kitchen is well stocked. Owner is very reachable and attentive.

This property had all the amenities of home located on beautiful land. Many in our party enjoyed the pool. The historical items in the home were intriguing and thoughtful. My favorite part was the wrap-around porch. We will return.

As always the house was clean and amazingly well equipped. Wi-Fi and heating system worked great. Wonderful library room. Highly recommended get away for couples and families.

Beautifully charming spacious Victorian home sitting on 70 acres with surrounding orchard. All the amenities of home filled with antiques and memories of a by-gone era. House is minutes to restaurants shopping and state park. Highly recommend.

We love this farm house and all that makes it so special. From the well stocked kitchen cupboards to the closest up stairs with extra pillows and blankets. The kitchen table is a great place to sit and visit or play games. The wrap around porch provides a great place for morning coffee or just sit , visit and watch the animals.The pool is a plus. The owners are very nice and just a phone call away if needed. This is so close to many historic sights, the Ohiopyle area and everything to do there, and great restaurants. Can't wait for our next gathering of friends next year.

We love staying at Victorian Orchard. 3rd year and counting! It is a nice relaxing spot for adults and the kids had a blast! We will be back!

Charming Victorian near Ohiopyle, Kentuck Knob, Fort Necessity, etc. Worked out perfectly for a family reunion. Very well stocked kitchen (but bring your own favorite spices). Pool was great even though it was chilly; the teenagers didn’t seem to mind much! A few of us walked over to Klay winery (it’s that close) but it’s far safer to drive.

Very cool country estate. The field on the top of the hill was a great place to have a fire with the family. Pool was refreshing and clean. Plenty of amenities for families of all ages.

What a fun place! We spent the weekend marveling at all the cool pics of a bygone time in every room of this house. We then enjoyed the campfires and just being outdoors. Cucumber falls is a short distance away and the small town has everything you need By far the very best of this stay was the walk up to the bluff and its amazing sunset views. We already booked again

What a great place. This historical house was such a fun experience. Our 2 day stay was not enough ! From the unique rooms and awesome location we cannot wait to come back We had great weather on our stay and did cucumber falls and watched the sunset up on the bluff. This is an outdoorsman or nature lovers dream

What's it like to have your own park-like setting with every amenity you could ever imagine, plus the pool and the splendid views? That is the Victorian Orchard. It was, by far, our best vacation rental. The house is so charming because it brings you back to a bygone era but also has all your modern conveniences. Each room has its own personality. Also, make sure you climb the mountain trail on the property to see the gorgeous overlook of the valley. With so many activities shut down this year, the Victorian Orchard had it all right on the property.

We had a great time at Victorian Orchard. This was our fifth year spending a long weekend re-connecting with friends. The pool was great and the house is spacious and well-equipped. Close to Ohiopyle for sightseeing and we had some great food at the Summit Inn and at Caporella’s in Uniontown.

Very nice, clean, everything close by for entertainment, but very relaxing. We were there June 28,29 30 visiting with family. Just sit on the porch and take in the fresh mountain breeze. No bugs to fight. The pool is very nice weather permitting...

Perfect place for anyone who is looking to have a large family gathering. Whether you are sitting on the porch or hiking up the trails on the property, the views are absolutely stunning. Extremely kid friendly and Fort Necessity as well as Ohiopyle State park are not too far from this lovely home. If you’re looking for the perfect place to take in the sunrise while sipping your morning coffee, this is the place or if you want to grab a beer and watch the sunset. Loved the sweet mountain air and everything this property has to offer. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to getaway.

This was the 4th year we stayed at Victorian Orchard and will return. The owners and David from Turning Leaf were just a phone call away and very friendly and helpful. We had 9 friends from 4 states on our long weekend. This year we seem to spend time sitting in the living room reminiscing about our 40+ years friendship. We are teachers and friends. The pool was another favorite gathering place and the mornings were spent on the porch. The house is very well equipped with everything from cooling supplies to suntan lotion. Explore the closets for games and magazines. It's such a comfortable place.

Loved the history of the house and area. Lots to do. We loved the wrap around porch and it definitely came in handy bc of all the rain. The pool was great.

Great house for a family get together! We celebrated my son's graduation from high school and we had a great time. The porch /pool and the property are just amazing. The bedrooms are nice size . David was great to work with. Every evening was smores and outside games. Thanks for a great time! Carol
