It was a great place to ring in the new year! Lots of great hiking trails in the area.

The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we could have asked for. The gas fireplace provided a beautiful ambience without the struggles of having to stack and maintain a wood fire, or to deep out the ashes afterward. And the ambient nesting in the floors...divine!!!

We had a wonderful stay! The location is perfect for exploring the area, peaceful, and easy to find. Check-in/out was a breeze, and the house had everything we needed to enjoy our time there.

Check-in was easy. Kitchen is fully stocked with lots of cooking/baking staples (if you want to cook full meals, you're set!). Property is lovely -- two outdoor sitting areas, deck with lots of space to relax. There is a small creek only a few yards away from the deck so you can listen to the water while drinking your morning coffee. House is clean. Would stay here again.

The property was exactly as pictured and listed. The hosts were very responsive and welcoming. We had a WONDERFUL time.

Wooded and beautiful, close to winery and restaurants, short drive to Ohiopyle. The house was lovely, especially the living room with a gas fireplace and comfy couch. The deck has a great view of the creek and the kitchen served our needs perfectly.

Great spot with great amenities! Had access to a fire pit, grill, and kitchen. Awesome spot tucked away but close to town, a winery, and distillery! Would stay again.

Overall, a very nice place to stay. The bed was a bit low and uncomfortable. And the coffee maker wouldn't work But now I'm just being nit-picky.

My sister visited us with her teenage daughters and bernedoodle and we had the best Thanksgiving ever! She loved the fireplace and heated tile floors, and the girls and our entire family absolutely loved the wonderful window seats. The spacious and warm kitchen was perfect not just for our cooking but also for the whole family to gather and sit around enjoying each other's company - the lovely and numerous kitchen windows helped us enjoy nature even though it was cold and rainy outside - the creek and woods are so beautiful! We wish we could have enjoyed the outside more, but we hope to stay there again and look forward to doing so at that time.

I enjoyed this charming cottage so much in the summer, I had to come to see it with fall foliage in the background. I was not disappointed.

What a lovely little cottage off the beaten path. Quiet, serene and peaceful. Right down the road is some local entertainment. It was a nice respite from the WVU vs. Kansas game!

This charming woodland cabin is really the perfect getaway spot. Nestled in a picturesque setting, it provides a wonderfully comfortable and peaceful retreat for any season. As a first-time renter, I couldn't have asked for a more positive introduction to the experience. The cabin is outfitted with every amenity imaginable—from a well-stocked kitchen; cable TV; Wi-Fi; and cold, quiet air conditioning to board games and books for rainy days. It was abundantly clear that the owner has put tremendous thought into anticipating guests' every need and creating a welcoming "home away from home" atmosphere. The interior is tastefully appointed with comfortable furnishings and rustic decor that suits the woodland locale perfectly. Importantly, the beds provide a restful night's sleep and the shower boasts excellent water pressure—two key features that can make or break any accommodation! One of the many inviting aspects of this property is the expansive wraparound deck overlooking the creek. It is the ideal perch to sip morning coffee while listening to birdsong, or unwind in the evening while enjoying the fresh air and sounds of nature. Our dogs loved sprawling on the deck to sunbathe and survey the surroundings. We hated to leave at the end of our stay, and we're already planning a return visit. This delightful cabin would be an ideal destination any time of the year. I heartily recommend this special property to anyone seeking a memorable Laurel Highlands escape.

I will start with "I would absolutely stay here again". The interior has been well thought out. But what most impressed me, the windows. There are many walls of windows which made me feel like I was outside. The kitchen had an extensive supply of spices and a drawer with all kinds of storage bags--I almost never see these things in a rental. Thank you David for your quick response for an added night--I wish I could have stayed even longer.

We loved the quiet setting, views from the kitchen and living area and the rustic charm and comfort of this beautiful cottage. While we did not stay long enough to enjoy the outdoor streamside firepit, we did enjoy the gas fireplace while having dinner and watching a movie. I did take one star off for the cleaning because although I am allergic to pets and knew this was a pet friendly home, the helpful property manager said the house had been recently deep cleaned and would be given a once over before we arrived, but I found animal hair on the window ledges and as a large wad of fur under the bed. We loved it otherwise and found everything we needed in the kitchen for the basic food prep.

This was our second stay here - we just adore it! We love the heated floors - what a luxury! So glad the indoor fireplace has been converted to electric - we appreciate a wood burning fire, but this old home just wasn't suited for it. Nice to have the look of a fire in the house - thank you! Location is great - but you should have a 4 wheel drive in the winter. There is MUCH more snow at this home than even 4 miles away downhill! The outdoor fire pit is a favorite of ours - we bring loads of our own dry wood as well as a fire starter log to make starting the fire easy. The host is amazing with communication and follow-up...kuddos to that! Thanks for another much needed quiet escape to the woods!

Had a nice week enjoying the mountains and fall colors. Even got to see some snow.

I camp or stay in Ohiopyle every year. The cabin is in close proximity to shops and the park. The cabin was cute and shares a driveway with another cabin that’s far enough way but you’re not totally secluded. I find this to be a good thing. I did have to go buy bedding and pillows because when making up the bed realized it was unclean. I would consider booking in the future.

Rustic log cabin with additions of bedrooms, bathroom, and large kitchen. Conveniently located near US Highway 40, but far enough away from the highway to be quiet. Relaxing and comfortable. Large deck and additional outdoor seating areas near woods and small creek; however, we tended to stay indoors to take advantage of the central A/C as we were there during some heat and humidity of early August.

Such an amazing little cabin in a beautiful location. It was everything we had hoped for and in very close proximity to historical locations, white water rafting, and some of the most beautiful scenery.

Super cute cottage on a peaceful creek. Everything was clean, the deck was awesome and private, and kitchen had everything we needed. Location was perfect t and right by the distillery and winery and short drive to Ohiopyle and other attractions. We will be back!

So many positive things about this cabin! Location: within minutes of wineries, good restaurants, hiking. Just a short drive to Ohiopyle, falling water etc. Deck: was amazing. So peaceful and beautiful. We spent every evening enjoying the view. And a nice gas grill included. The bed: so comfy. The mattress, linens and blankets were soft and cozy. Bathroom: had everything we needed and the shower was awesome. Kitchen: functional and had everything we needed. Just a few minor negatives. The TV: was tiny and no HD. The remote did not have a guide button on it and there was no channel guide in the cabin that we could find. The bedroom: abuts the road. If you like sleeping with windows open, you will hear some traffic noise. The road is not busy at all, so not a big issue. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and i would recommend it.

The home is perfectly located for all things in the Ohiopyle area - it is easy to locate and all the directions were very clear. The grounds around the home are wonderful for exploring, poking around in the stream and relaxing on the deck - and the bonfire pit by the river was wonderful (bring your own wood, paper, lighters etc). The inside is well appointed with everything you need (we even made a Thanksgiving dinner there!) - the big open kitchen that looks out over the woods is fantastic - great big windows! The floors are heated - what a. treat - and the beds and linens are so comfy! The fireplace is tricky - I would not suggest using it - smoke backs up into the home very easily. We really enjoyed this home and wish to complement the owners on how tidy, well stocked and comfy their home is!

Lovely cabin with a wonderful woodland view off the back deck. The heated tile floors in the kitchen and bath were so appreciated on the cool, Fall mornings. The location was perfect - short drive for supplies, Ohio Pyle Falls, Fort Necessity and many different types of trails. Baughman Gorge up the mountain from Ohiopyle was absolutely beautiful this Fall. Be sure to visit Fort Necessity battlefield. Absolutely wonderful. Our host for the cabin was so friendly when she checked us in in and we enjoyed our entire stay.

Nice quiet relaxing weekend. Just a short drive to almost anything you want to do. Bonus with the heated floors in the kitchen, bath and bedrooms.

Good central location for many activities. Nicely furnished. Kitchen well stocked. Bedrooms comfortable size. Trees are nice around house but deck could use pressure washing periodically.

This was our second time staying here. We love the location—woodsy and secluded, and we love all the outdoor seating space! The cottage is comfortable with very good wifi. We love coming here to spend a weekend hiking in Ohiopyle and Bear Run.

Ohiopyle is my PA happy place. Visiting from Oregon and being able to share this special place with my family was great. This is the cutest cabin in a lush forested area. Just perfect for us.

The cabin is really cool and sits next to a nice little creek. It was close to the winery and the distillery (less than a mile). Our dogs really loved the grounds and were able to run around. I would recommend the property to anyone going to the area. We did Falling Water and a river trip out of Ohiopyle and both were close and accessible.

Wonderful rustic cabin. Enjoyed setting on the deck and watching wildlife. Even saw a bear with 2 cubs one evening. Definitely would stay here again

Well designed, clean log cabin reminiscent of the original Civilian Conservation Corps building style in PA, with large brown logs and solid fireplace. Well-loved spaces with thoughtful floor plan and furniture. Near the road but still private. Air-conditioning is only in the living room and there are no fans in the bedrooms to move the air, so in a hot summer night it was somewhat uncomfortable, particularly in the back bedroom where the kids slept. The kitchen is basic but the space is beautiful with ceiling to floor windows overlooking the woods. The porch is lovely, and so is the little stream on the bottom of the hill.

My wife and I wanted a weekend getaway and booked this cabin and it was perfect. It's off the main road yet conveniently located within a very short drive to restaurants. Ohiopyle and Kentuck Knob are both within 12-15 minute drive. The cabin itself was well stocked and very comfortable. It was a little cool for us to enjoy the outdoor firepits but they looked nice. It was a wonderful place to hang out after long walks at Ohiopyle or visiting other sights in the area.

The peace and quiet at this cabin was just what we needed. Surrounded by woodlands and a creek, we felt “away from it all” but still close enough to enjoy some local sites. The cabin had everything we needed from a well-stocked kitchen to a comfortable bed. We only encountered one issue when the water stopped running but the property owners responded very quickly and fixed the issue. The rest of the trip was perfect. The warm floors kept us cozy during an un expected snow storm. I would definitely stay there again.

We had an excellent girls weekend in this adorable cottage. Nice and Clean, well equipped Kitchen, very peaceful and private yet close to different stores and sites. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

The cottage was so quaint and was so relaxing. We went to winery, Christmas shop and Ohiopyle...I would highly recommend it and David was great talking to when booking!
